Post your SOA so we can take a look and offer some advices...
The OR will only lower if he feels there too high not to purposley put you into the position you have an IPA. For my part I knew I was going to get an IPA but my OR moved a couple of figures ands its actually slightly less than anticipated0 -
It really depends, i would have thought, what amountsyou put on your SOA.
Hopefully if they dont change too much you wont have an IPA. It must be over £100 for an IPA to kick in.
From reading on here, the time can vary before you know. 2 weeks - 3 months.
The OR is not going to put you in a position that you can't afford to live, without borrowing. That will defeat the object of what you've done.
Best of luckI'm no expert, but i'll give you my opinion, my support and my experience. Its all i have.

We had no surplus.
Our SOA wasn't even discussed in the interview and although we have notified the OR of very slight hourly rate increases during our BR, we haven't had to fill out a new SOA or any I/E related forms.
We have about 9 weeks until AD and all has been quiet for a long time.0 -
an IPA will ONLY kick in if you have a £99 a month or more surplus after all living expenses are paid....I very much doubt you'll be penalised just for the hell of it...it'll take some major dissallowing of stuff to reash £98 or so quid.
post up your SOA as others said & see what we can doWe all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0 -
we went br beginning of feb and still no ipa has been discussed, starting to worry when it will happen as we will have 3 years after that to pay if we have enough surplus0
-
yeah, that would just drag out the BR.
I'd sooner know now than later.I'm no expert, but i'll give you my opinion, my support and my experience. Its all i have.
