i want to opt out of employer pension scheme

  • thanks i can see the flaws in my position and have decided i was way off course in my thinking.

    I will transfer pension from previous employer - from which i recieve a yearly letter telling me how much it is under preforming into my present scheme and shut up.

    You also should have thought about it harder before you made the post. I find the fact that you would rather give away money that your employer is offering, and expect me to fund your retirement, rather unsavoury :mad:

    I hope you have seen the light but can't help finding your morals slighly dodgy in respect of having to have it pointed out to you.:o:o:o

    On the upside, if the OP wants to be poor in retirement and suffer 20-30 years of living on or just below the breadline, just imagine what the quality of life will be compared to someone that actually did take the free money and saved for their retirement.
