Hi guys, since jan I've only been working Sundays (5 hrs a wk) should I notify the tax office as I don't think
I should pay tax (as only come away with 23 after tax a wk) and I've been told this is well below the threshold. Or do I wait till they sort it out automatically
thanks in advance x

What is your tax code? You shouldn't be paying any tax until you're earning over £120-odd HOWEVER if you didn't give the employer a P45 or didn't fill in a P46 stating it was your main job, you will be taxed on everything.0

You need to ask your employer for a form P46. Sign this to say this is your only job and you will not pay tax and your employer will refund tax already deducted.£705,000 raised by client groups in the past 18 mths :beer:0
