Changing Dentist in the Same Practice

Dear All,
Apologies if this question has been previously asked, I havent really found a godo answer.
Basically I'm registered with a practice in leicester (NHS) and although the dentist seems to know his field, I am a nervous patient and his approach does make me nervous.
Im due to go for root-canal shortly, I will be paying private, but was wondering if there is a standard approach taken if I preferred the work done by another dentist at the same location? Or if they are liable to reject my request and if so on what grounds...
I was actually considering to go full private, as most of the things I have (white fillings, crowns, etc) would only be available via Private.
Any advice is appreciated.
Thank you
Regards
Mark

Each practice is different. You would need to ask them to be honest.0

What he said ^^^^^^^^^^^How to find a dentist.
1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.0
