I wonder why Collins keep changing the cover of this book EVERY year.
Maybe to make you think there's a new version out. But it's still the 2004 version.

format: Hardback
pub date: 06/09/2004
imprint: Collins
ISBN: 0-00-718523-5
price: £25
Anyway at this price it's an absolute steal if you haven't got one already !
Well spotted Ukmonkey !0 -
These are similar to the ones that we have been getting FREE from Tesco all yr on R&R.
Labelled and sel £9.99, charged £12.99. I cannot remember them having the plug on the front, so don't know whether they are up to date re the electical regulations.
I think someone posted a couple of weeks back about they had RECENTLY had an R&R on it, but since I've already got mine put away for Xmas I haven't bothered looking at them. I don't know whether the latest batch of Tesco mis-prices are these newer versions
Hope this might help someone = check out your Tesco first !0 -
Thanks for that theoldbag, wasn't aware of this, but then again, I've never R&R'd.0

Just for you, ukmonkey, I've dug out my 2 free copies (- put away ready to be wrapped for Xmas - I do love Tescos:D ) and they do have the plug on the front and say they comply with the latest electrical regulations !!
Sticker still on £9.97, but I was charged £12.9x on both, - so got them both FREE
As I said in previous post, someone mentioned getting one quite recently so it may be worth checking out, esp if they expand their line in books for run up to Xmas
Suggest you check out the mis-priced thread sometime, you could have nabbed yourself a free Xbox/PS2/PSP plus game......or maybe not, as Tesco seem to be reluctant to hand back the £200-£300 plus the bundles for some strange reason !!
Haven't chanced my arm this time, but it's all VERY entertaining
p.s of course if you are hoping to get an R&R on this, just read the mis-price first page to know how to suss out if it will be higher, otherwise you could be charged the lower price and have to return it for a refund. Although at £9.97 it is probably cheaper than Amazon if you have to pay P&P !!0 -
Maybe my brain isn't engaging properly after a busy shift at work but I can't think what an R&R is short for so ......... What is an R&R guys?
Thanks in advance.0 -
