My parents aged 54 and 48 have got a mortgage with Advantage. My mum is currently on sick but they have recieved an offer from Advantage. If they move their mortgage of 156,000 and they will take some money of this.
Problem is we dont know where to start looking for a mortgage. We have previously tried before and struggled. Their income is not brilliant and not my mum is on sick. Their credit rating is also not brilliant.
They were recommended to add my brothers name on the mortgage to be accepted due to the sickness.
Can anyone give me any advice regarding this matter please.

What is the income and where is it derived from?
What would the settlement figure for the mortgage be?
Realistically what would the home's value be?
Specifically what adverse credit is there for all applicants?0 -
Income aprox 25,000 and house value we are looking at around 190,000.
I know that Advantage do up the offer so really need to see whats available to us first. But we are looking around 120,000 for mortgage.
Im not sure if this offer is for all of the customers of advantage.0 -
4.8x income is going to massively restrict you straight away.
As per my previous post, where is the income derived from? Need a breakdown..
Also can you answer about the adverse credit?0
