Beer deals

Looks like the Asda and Tesco 3 for £20 is the best deal on different varieties.
HOWEVER
Sainsburys just trumps Asda and Tesco with their full case of cans (24) for £10 deal on some brands, they are Fosters, Carlsberg. Getting 2 cases at Sainsburys gives you 48 cans for £20, whereas the Asda/Tesco deal would only get you 45 cans for £20. I know it's only 3 cans but it's a saving.
IN ESSENCE
Sainsburys is best for Fosters (cans), Carlsberg (cans) (3 cans more than Asda, tesco)
Tesco on price is best for Stella and Export bottles. Also better some other brands on offer here that can't be found anywhere else.
Asda also has other brands on offer that other supermarkets don't.
Morrisons is rubbish.
For all else, Asda and Tesco are pretty matched.
FURTHERMORE
If you're shopping online, this all maybe contradicted due to the £10 off first order offer tesco have, see here: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2376443
For shopping in-store, these are the best deals i can find. Here are the online links.
Sainsburys: http://www.sainsburys.co.uk/groceries/index.jsp?bmUID=1276117919594
Asda: http://groceries.asda.com/asda-estore/specialoffers/linksavecontainer.jsp?promoId=ls60985p4
Morries: http://www.morrisons.co.uk/Offers/Drinks/
Tesco: http://www.tesco.com/superstore/product/promo.aspx?prodId=56739918
FINALLY, if you're a cider drinker, don't even go near the Magners 6 pints for a tenner at tesco. You can get 12 cans for a tenner on the same deal. If you get the pint bottles it's £2.93/litre but if you get the 12 cans it's £1.89/litre. Though I suppose some people like bottles... hopefully they're worth the £1.04/litre extra you'll pay.
Hopefully this will help/hasn't posted before because i've spent AGESS writing this out. Not really bothered if it has already been posted either 'cause now I've got something to refer to before I go shopping for this weekend's BBQ! Oh, please feel free to point out any mistakes I may have made.

Appreciate the extra info as I was about to go to Morrisons and buy three 12-packs for £18. I was in Tesco store yesterday and they hardly had anything in.
TBH I guess the Morrisons deal is actually still competitive though isn't it? If you go for the 3 for £18, e.g. that would get you 36 cans of Carling for £18 or 50p a unit, so same cost per unit as Sainsbury's £10 for 20, but obviously having to spend more. But if for instance a Morrisons branch is more convenient than Sainsburys? Hmm.
Anyway thanks again for taking the time to write up the beer deals!

Thanks OP for the information - I think the Morrisons deal is a bit better than what you make out if they are 440ml cans! Seems like a good deal for Budweiser.0
