1. Chase it up but be patient. They may issue them once a month and only after the final salary payment.
2. Yes perfectly legal.0 -

As above...The Googlewhacker referance is to Dave Gorman and not to my opinion of the search engine!

How many days do you work each week?
If you work five (or more) days a week that is 50 (or more) hours a week (assuming the half-hour is outside the ten hours).
Unless you have opted out of the 48-hour week regulations in the WT Regs then that would not be lawful.
The employer cannot insist you sign an opt-out and it would be unfair if they dismissed you because you would not sign.
There is also the possibiity that your hours could exceed 48 hours for a few weeks but on average would not exceed it and so that would be lawful.
(Of course, you may have employers who are well aware of what they are doing and are giving you the half-hour break in a total 10-hour shift in order for your hours to total just 47.5 hours a week.)0 -
If you don't have a P45, your new employer should ask you to complete a P46"Now to trolling as a concept. .... Just moved jobs myself and the above is exactly what happened while i wait for my P45. My old employer told me that my P45 would be issued next monthly pay day for my old company.Politicians and diapers have one thing in common. They should both be changed regularly, and for the same reason.0
