advice on how much NI etc I pay as an employer

    You also need to factor in sick pay - if you are going to pay them their full rate on top of SSP. Employment law is a minefield and it would pay you to get some one-off help with setting up contracts and policies.

    Sorry I musunderstood the OP. I thought she wanted us to tell her how much tax and NI to deduct from the gross salary of £300, not an estimate of the total cost to the business.
