    Hello all
I have been with PP for nearly 3 years and so far all has been going well.
Recently Lloyds have been getting their wires crossed (for a change) and saying I am behind with payments when I am not.
PP have emailed up to date info to them practically twice for the last 3 months yet still they don't get the message!
Anyway, today I received a default notice from them. Am I wrong in thinking this is a 'positive' thing?
I know lots of you have had experience of dealing with Lloyds and been driven mad by their incompetancy so would appreciate any advice.

    Thanks a lot!

    Hi All

I hope you are well and looking forward to the weekend !
I thought I would update you all regarding my ongoing problems with Halifax and their refusal to accept my DMP etc !

As you may remember I ended up having to take my case to The FOS as Halifax totally ignored all correspondance from myself and my DMP provider. I also took my case to The Information Officer, as Halifax continued to call me numerous times per day , totally ignoring my written requests to have contact in writing only.

Anyway The FOS and The Information Commisioner have both contacted Halifax on my behalf, The Information Commisioner has reminded Halifax of their duties !! and as of yet I am unsure as to what The FOS have said to Halifax, but it must of been an interesting conservation because as of today, all interest and charges that have been added to my account within the past six months have been refunded and my account is now set up on a payment arrangement for the next 6 months with Halifax, within three months my account will be passed to their collections department and I will be put on a long term repayment plan, no more interest or charges will be added to my account until it is paid in full.

I now await a reply from The FOS to hear his final decision !
The past six months have been very stressfull, I have done all I can to try and make a payment arrangement with Halifax and they have put so many obstacles in my way that it has been a total nightmare. I have been telephoned and harrased on a daily basis for six months and lied to on numerous occassions.

I would like to thank everyone here for giving me the courage to fight back, I even managed to pluck up the courage to speak with a customer service manager yesterday, and I told him exactley what I thought of his company and their tactics ( I was quite surprised that he didn't disagree with me, tbh he didn't know what to say, as the lack of communication between internal departments is just unbelievable)

Anyway I just wanted to give you all a bit of good news and to advise anyone having the same problems with any company, to do the same and don't let them get away with it.

    result Scouse!!!

It is totally ridiculous that you have to go to these lengths to get a national bank to behave in a reasonable manner. What a waste of your valuable time and energy. i really hope they learn, but I guess they won't.................

    Hi all

A newbie here, yesterday was the worse day of my life and after 2 years of struggling to maintain a mounting debt, I have finally decided that I need to do something about it.

Between my partner losing a job and me having to take a 35% wage cut things have steadily gone from bad to worse.

I have spend most of tonight and the early hours trying to find a solution to my problem and having found this site and the CCCS Debt Remedy; I'm starting to feel a little better.

I used the online debt counselling service, and it recommend that I go down the DMP route. I am going to phone them tomorrow to get the ball rolling and hopefully get something done about my debt.

    Hoping for better days

Welcome to the thread. Hopefully you will soon want to change your post to say yesterday was one of the best days in your life!

Been in contact with CCCs today and all agree that DMP is the only way to go.

I have spend the last two nights reading through the threads on here to get a feel for what is involved; I can see me spending a lot more time here.

I'm sure I'm going to have 100s of questions and the first one concerns is:-

Remember to electronically sign all correspondence DO NOT SIGN WITH YOUR SIGNATURE.

What does this mean and how do you electronically sign the correspondence and does this mean the letters I sign informing creditors I'm going on a DMP?

Or just print so they can't copy your signature (incase you decide to challenge enforceability at a later stage)
