My daughter has graduated and will be starting her new job soon, whilst she was a student she had the odd job during holiday weeks and didnt have to pay income tax would she start paying tax straight away when she starts her new job are would she be able to earn her personal allowance first.

She is allowed to earn 1/12 of her personal allowance each month, around £540. If she has not worked this FY she will have 3 x £540 allowance at the end of this month before paying any tax.0
