Hi Moneypenny and Beanie,
Of course you are welcome over there!
SW has been posting like mad - and she isn't in debt at all!
There is something called he "Insolvency Inn" where people gather to chat about anything and everything - all the others are there, so please join in! As long as you turn there up, you are keeping well away from all the UE stuff!
We miss you - and I know SW would love to hear from you both!"What does not kill me makes me stronger". Frederich Nietzsche, 1844-1900.0 -

The 'new forum' isn't relevant to me either but I'm there...it's really quiet though which is strange as we're so used to the quick moving threads on here. I'm not sure I'm going to like it very much over there.Started PADdin' 13/04/09 paid £7486.66 - CC free 02/11/10

You certainly notice how slowly this thread is moving now all the gossips have gone!

Incidentally, there are the Notice to newcomers and the No Spend Day challenge threads for those who like to join in some banter, and the two threads also have their own very serious reasons for existing as well, which anyone used to posting on this thread will understand. One life - your life - live it!0

Nargle has a vey good point Beanie & Moneypenny - Solventsoon (Spoon) runs a great thread in which we all set ourselves a target as to how many no spending days (NSDs) we are going to have in a month and then we report in on successes or otherwise - but that is only a smoke screen really as we have a lot of banter too not to mention riotous virtual days/evenings out (like our trip to the Mens Final at Wombledon which was followed by a trip to US of A for an Independence Day B-B-Q, transport courtesy of the Tardis !!!!!!) Yes I know moneypenny, you are already on there. And Beanie has joined now too. Great
The thread is here
And then on Notice to Newcomers part 7 me, Spoon, Nargle, Numpty, Tixy, Carol and a growing band bump the thread (called Fred i.e. Fred the thread) to keep it in view and most of us rush off to zap trolls and spammers when we find them or when others tell us where they are - but, as above, we have loads of banter as this helps to keep Fred in view
So there are places to gossip where you will familiar faces as well as make new friends - pop over and have a lookMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

Hi everyone
:j
Hope your all well.
Its been a very hot day today, although a little overcast now and again, still got lots of my washing dry so I'm happy.
My son's car, his clutch have gone, part not in until Monday, in his job as an Employment Mentor/Adviser he travels to visit his clients, so he will have to make alternate transport arrangements until his car is sorted, unfortunately its a long job, by the time you get to the clutch etc, that's a job on its own........
My hubby needs our car for getting back and forth work, but can help my son get back and forth to his office on his days off.
So that is at least something I suppose.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0
