I can fully understand why you feel this way, but by leaving, they are getting what they want. Its absolutely disgusting that they can get away with sending abusive message to people. I came to MSE like lots of other folk for help, and got it (Thanks Niddy), but if this is what its going to be like I think lots more people will be leaving too, and that's a real shame.

Hi Niddy,

This is truly dreadful and I am so sorry that this type of person has driven you away.

I think Elsie has put it so well - and so has Mustbeatthis. You have helped so many people and such vile and malicious comments do such harm to all genuine people on this site - and also to the site itself!

But, if you do decide to leave we will all respect your decision - but we will miss you! And as a friend, not just as someone we can turn into in our hour of need.

What an insult to think that Niddy would spend his time (or has such a sick mind) as to go around impersonating the very people he is trying to stop! Stupid and ignorant is right!

Perhaps we should get up a petition?

That describes it exactly, Di!

It is one thing Niddy wanting to leave or cut back because of his own reasons - quite another to be driven away from doing what he has been doing so well - supporting people who are down, who regard him as a life-line and are fully appreciative of his hard work!

I am fuming about this!
