Just off for a shower (yes it is my birthday!) to freshen up before I have to do some house work to get my brownie points for going drinking today. May try to chat a bit later guys & gals.

    Morning everyone,

Sorry that I have not replied earlier.

Would you believe that the laptop started playing silly b's when I was reading Niddy's post!

And I think you can all guess my response at the result! I don't mind one bit you all knowing before me - my fault for staying in bed so late (I have had a shower as well, though!

Not only was I overwhelmed when I read Niddy's reply to all that stuff I scanned yesterday (and just reading it must have been a marathon effort!) but when I read everyone's responses and congratulations I really did well up!

I was a bit concerned about a couple of the replies but managed to disguise this last night. In fact, I was wondering whether it was justice for going on about champagne (virtualy, not paid for stuf!) during our thread-warming party! Incidentally, Fitzer, do your "nicking skills" extend to the odd bottle of Moet???

I just hope that this is a good omen and that SW's appraisal works out well for her. Another result if it does.

    Have a good day, everone!

If it really is your birthday - HAPPY BIRTHDAY! (If I was like SW there would be cartoons and music to go with this!)

    If not, HAPPY UNBIRTHDAY!

I think we should declare the day you get "free" UE day or your official birthday it should be declared a bank holiday as well. you will have to stand at your window and do a royal wave Ann!!!!!!

    Thanks Jinny,

Did think of changing the thread name but didn't want troll-like people to think I had become complacent - which I know is dangerous!

    Thanks Jinny,

Unfortunately, a visit to Tesco's is needed! (Am out all day tomorrow)

And then the long wait for the post this afternoon - well, nearly evening, really.

Hi Ann, I would genuinely send you a bottle of champers and NID a crate of Stella (3 for £20 at Tesco's, free if my new til scanner "bleep" invention works!!) if I could get it to you. I'm so pleased for you. As Jinny says maybe it's time to change your name! Happy Birthday Libby, have a great day.
