Yes i've read your previous posts and sorry to hear of your problems, however that never answered me properly! You seem too clued up to be your first day - sorry experience has taught us to be sceptical. Most newbies struggle to multi-quote let alone add an avatar, signature, PM settings etc within their first few hours.

Sorry if I sound harsh, it's what we do over here (i.e. find AE's and Trolls): NOTICE TO NEWCOMERS - Part 7 !!!!!!! - so best of luck, hope you get the help you need.

One question though, why would you want to keep a new baby when you can't look after the one you have? That isn't going against beliefs, it's being unfair on both children - isn't it?

Morning everyone,

Another glorious day - already steaming hot!

Hope everyone is well and recovered from the result yesterday!

I am much more "with it" than I was when I got in last night - although I have a massively sore head (which I know is totally self-inflicted!)

Not sure what to make of our "new home". Thought all the explanations from George and Fermi last night made sense but have now read Niddy's latest, which makes the point about a lot of the UE issues still being discussed - and not all of them mine! I always bow to Niddy's (very) superior wisdom and will be guided by him on this but I wonder whether we should separate the chatty bits from the more serious stuff and end up with two different threads.

Whatever we decide, it is good to see all our friends finding their way here!

I think we should separate them. Have a mouseann thread for all the financial stuff (on the proper page) and another one for gossiping (in diaries) so i dont feel guilty. See i knew it was because i gossiped.

Ann take it easy today. Drink lots of water and relax. My head hurts. I cried so much, this morning i have red eyes, if anyone asks at work i shall tell them I am stoned!!!

It is NOT your fault! So, please, please - stop stressing! I have been as guilty as the next person for going "off message" and encouraging everyone to post about random stuff. In my defence, it has succeeded in keeping my mind off the more serious stuff, though.

When Niddy has a moment (which probably won't be until the next millennium!) I will ask for some advice on the best way to do the "split".

In the meantime, anyone with any other ideas - please do let us know.

You cannot have a chatty thread - it's not really allowed. They say there is one chat thread for the forum which is called the Arms - you won't find me (or a lot of others) willing to post over there.....

Best to just leave this in here - it is no different really, people will still find it - all the keywords and links are active, just means if people search the DFW boards they will miss it, if they search the DFD boards then they will see it.

Its really no big deal, I simply pointed out to Fermi that it is in fact still a DFW thread as we're still working to achieve unenforceability - but his point, which is also true, is that it is more chatty than anything else and therefore belongs in the DFD boards. Fermi has reminded several others that their new thread should also be created in the DFD boards - namely Mike (Lisawaters) - the builder carry on thread - well they are also moaning that they don't want to be moved.....

Just leave it as is - it's really no big deal.

SW you really have to stop being so silly about this. The rules are clear and you have done nothing wrong, so what even if you had? It is not the end of the world you know! I always get people trying to mouth off and cause bother in my threads but you know what? It doesn't bother me at all because i'd just close it and start a new thread if it became that bad - point of this is to explain that Ann, and everyone else that posts here, realises it is only a thread! Its not the be-all and end-all, i'm sure you have better things to stress over?......

Please be told will you, nothing you have done to date would warrant you breaking ANY MSE rules so stop stressing! A guy last night told someone to Eff-Off 3 times and is still not banned, so gives you an idea of what the Mods do and do not ban people for, however I am not suggesting you swear at people cos that will ultimately get you banned!
