I think i have lost some weight crying. How much does 9 tissues worth of snot weigh?
I can't go till he kicks me out in writing as you are like my family. This thread is what keeps me going at work. When i have nightmares i log on in the night and i feel better. I will even miss Mr Swan fan's weather reports. I have learned so much and made so many new friends, I dont want to go. I am going to stay till they send bailiffs and i will use my savings to hire Mr Nid and his daughter so they can't kick me off.
Please stop beating yourself up!

savingwannabe: Nothing to do with you at all. Don't stress.
As this is now more of a DFW diary rather than anything else, I meant to ask for the new thread to be started over here. But forgot. Oops!
There are quite a few other threads on the main DFW board that really need moving over as well. Just need to bite the bullet. :cool:Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

How i would sum up the move...
1. Why have we been moved?
The DFW board is for people to ask questions about their debts and problems.
The Diary board is to keep people appraised as to how they are getting on and anything else they want to put into their diary.
2. Who decided to move us?
Usually it's a board moderator that notices a thread in the wrong section. Some may get moved to the bankruptcy forum - it just depends on the best location for the thread.
3. What the criteria for the move were?
a) Are you asking for help
b) Are you informing others of your progress
c) How big is the thread and is it remaining on the original request/topic of the thread
4. What are the implications of the move - for and against!
For - The diary section is for those who want to see the progress people have made and the chat they have.
Against - None that i am aware of. Initially i was against the move of a seperate diary section as i only really visit the DFW section of the board, but the diaries are just a click away and you are pretty sure those in the diary section won't be requesting new help. The help you need is supplied by avid followers of your thread so no need to panic about the help disappearing.
Any other ideas would be welcome - when I am sober!

Hello everyone,
It looks as if Fermi has given a definitive answer to the issue of being moved.
And it is definitely NOT your fault, SW.
May I suggest that we monitor the situation, and particularly note if any of our regulars stop posting! In my opinion, this should be the benchmark to decide if we are in the "right" environment."What does not kill me makes me stronger". Frederich Nietzsche, 1844-1900.0 -

Thanks George,
This is a brilliant reply to all my questions - and the very fact that you have posted has answered another one!
So, my conclusion is that the move is nothing to get stressed about - in fact, it allows us to go "off topic" as much as we like! (although Lord Nid may have a very different view on that particular comment)

After all that strenuous discussiona about the move (which I have tried to cope with in my somewhat "refreshed" state) I am now heading off to bed.
Apologies in advance if my ramblings have offended anyone!

This is what MSE Andrea said when the Diary Board was first set up.MSE_Andrea wrote: »You may not all feel they're diaries but they're close and the aim is so people, especially newbies, coming to the main debt-free wannabe board will have their questions seen and hopefully get answers.

To be honest, what has been left on the main board has probably been a bit lax lately.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
