Worried about my employment situation. What should I do?

Hi Everyone,
I was really hoping for some advice, I have worked for the same company now for nearly 3 years since leaving University with a basic Business degree. I started on a really low salary but really hoped I would be able to build myself up and gain experience to work elsewhere. However this has not exactly happened. I have now come to realise that there are no promotion prospects for me, and now because I am the youngest in the company, during my appraisal September last year, my manager decided to give virtually my entire role to another member of staff, basically writing me off as incompetent, she won’t give me the chance to prove myself. Now I fill my days doing literally nothing at work. I can’t just up and leave because I have quite a huge amount of debt that I am only just about managing to service. I have become a nervous wreck, I am really worried about the prospects of redundancy. I have tried looking for a new job for nearly two years with no success. What should I do?

Maybe you could do a bit of extra training in the evenings to boost your CV in order to get those new jobs? It does sound like you need to move on from your current employer.0

You need to move on from this company as soon as possible and this maybe by improving yourself or the fact your CV or interview technique are just not good enough in the current employment situation. The Googlewhacker referance is to Dave Gorman and not to my opinion of the search engine!
If I give you advice it is only a view and always always take professional advice before acting!!!

You might want to consider whether business is really your thing; without wanting to be rude, you have had 3 years to prove yourself.0

And what happens if her company has internet monitoring in place - I think earning money on the internet whilst supposed to be working will be gross misconduct!0
