Applying to HSBC

I just got turned down for a position at Barclays, and this yesterday applied to HSBC for a role as a cashier. Has anyone goe through the process with HSBC, if so how long does it all take. I'm still waiting to receive the link for the online assessment :S

I worked as a cashier for Barclays. you:
1, fill in their application form
2, complete an online assessment
3, take part in a phone interview
4, attend the 2 hour assessment
5, wait for a place/branch to be available to take you on.
Same with hsbc.0 -
I have worked for HSBC for just under 2 years and went through their recruitment process for a customer service officer the whole shaboodle took 4 months from initial application to starting in a 5 week intesive workshop, my progession in this time has been quite mixed having undertaken mortgage specialist role for s few months I am now a Business Specialist0
