I usualy hang around on grabbit and only discovered this board a few days ago, you all make some wonderful things!!
Thank you, as giggle said I got them off Ebay last year, they are so versitle you can use them for anything. I put a handful of celebrations in some of them for the teachers at christmas.
The chocolatres in the bouquets are held together by cello tape and kebab skewers. I tend to make each one individually, then bunch them together with tape again to make them into the bouquet.
This is the first time I have put pictures up although I have been crafting for quite a few years now!
Good luck in your ventures.0 -

Im defo gonna give them a go! Doubt they willturn out as well as yours but if I start now and keep practicing maybe I will be a dab hand by xmas!!!!!
Thanx for inspiring me and if you have made any more lovely things maybe you could give me a few ideas?!!!
Oh and do you stick the skewer right into the chocolates? If so does this affect them in any way?0 -
I tend to just stick the skewers down with cello tape, a couple of bits of tape on each bar usually does it, if you need any more help just pm me.

Hi Deejane sorry to keep bugging you but Im having a practice run with a 5 pack of bounties and Im having trouble wrapping them in tissue. I know this sounds so silly but how did you do it?0
-
Thats alright, I was trying to think how I did it now.
Right, on each skewer I put a small square of green tissue paper to make it look like a leaf and also to cover up the cello tape, but then you also have to tape it on the back to hold it on, (so much cello tape, just make sure you have lots). Then after you bunch them together, I used half a sheet of tissue paper, then I laid the chocolate on top and gathered it at the bottom of the sticks. Then I think I scrunched the rest round the top of the chocolate, then put it ontop of a piece of cello wrap and fold the cello over the top, gather it again at the sticks, and tie with ribbon, finish off by sticking edges of the cello to the back of the bouquet.
I hope this helps, I have tried to explain it the best I could.

Thank you soooo much for your help and advice. Once you explained it all I got cracking and have just finished my first ever chocolate bouquet in 15 minutes!!!!:j
I used 5 bounties and 4 milky ways as a second row on top of them. I wrapped them as you said and they looked great but cos didnt have much sellotape I used a bit of curling ribbon to tie the tissue round them, and I only used quater of a piece of tissue around the milky ways.
I think it looks quite good! Wish I knew how to upload a photo to show you:(0 -
