1st Credit letter...

Morning

I have two debts with 1st Credit (£1620 and £1863) which I have been paying £10 pm on both.

Today they have sent me letters for both saying if I can pay £648 and £745 on both, it will clear the accounts (eg, I pay 40% and they write off 60%)

Now if I the means to get £1300 tgether I would in a flash but due to my rented flat being repossessed and having to move, all my spare cash has gone on moving and securing a new home.

What do you think the chances are of them agreeing to lower the debt anyway to the those prices and me upping my payments to £50 pm for each? Shall I phone or write? x

They would only accept a lump sum payment for a settlement.

Make sure it's a full and final settlement as well.
