Secured loan
Options
Hi there
I was looking for a secured loan for some renovations we need done.
I have had quotes from the like of credit flex, but they add a fee on to the loan for them.
Does anyone know if i go direct to the likes of Nemo Personal Finance if theses fees would not be included.
Or where else would you try for a secured loan
Thanks

Hey,
I have a loan with nemo personal finance, and they miss sell loans and bogus insurance policys along side the loans...
!When I originally took out the loan in feb 2006 I was financially ok, then my partner left me with the £30,000 debt... So I contacted nemo the day she left me and explained that my financial circumstances have changed and would they be able to help with reducing the loan monthly repayments,
Nemo would not help me and where quite nasty over the phone, so I was in financial difficulty at this point... So I couldn't afford the £605.10 p/m they where asking for so I was paying them half of that amount ie. £300.00 p/m
Then as the months went by nemo had not contacted me in any way possible to ask for more money per month,so low and behold I receive a letter from there solicitors on the 15th November 2010 stating that I'm having to go to court on the 25th November 2010 (10 days) notice!!!!...... Absolute craziness!!
So I contacted my financial advisor and told him the situation, and in those 10 days i had to create some sort of a defence in which only 6 days would be possible to create a defence as 4 days where the weekend..
So my financial advisor rang round for a solicitor to get one buy the 25th November, couldn't be done......
So today (25th November) i went to court and lost my home...
Sadly nemo have failed to help me from when I asked them to,there website claims that they will help anyone with problems...they are scamming people thousands of pounds everyday....and acting unfairly and ruthless vultures.
!!
Many thanks Rich0 -

How did they scam you when you stopped making your full regular payments?"We act as though comfort and luxury are the chief requirements of life, when all that we need to make us happy is something to be enthusiastic about” – Albert Einstein0 -
First call should def be to your mortgage company, they will probably want a fee but will add that to the loan if you cant stump it up front,my BS wanted a £495 fee when i did a secured loan with them this year but i negotiated it down to £2000
