Sadly formally Adams childrenswear, they are in liquidation again, and Boots have given the contract to mothercare, which I think starts in August so all the range will be going.0

NOPE your wrong i work for mini mode and it is a different company from Adamswear now (the name is not owned by Boots, someone else could take over mini mode and have it somewhere else)
From September 1st MINI CLUB will be in Boots and its owned by Mothercare but is differently run and the stock is not the same as in Mothercare stores.
Staff should be treated better but for cumtomers Mothercare don't have as many promotions as Mini mode does. So we shall see.
All mini mode stock will be going into sale then reduced down into a clearence till stores are empty. :T Love a sale i will be stocking up for my own kids.Pay ALL your debt off by Xmas 2023 #59 £7008 Paid £570 Owing £6438 #1 H1 £151, #2 H2 £100, #3 O £200, #4 M £1500, #5 Z £295, #6 C1 £340, #7 L £1084, #8 N £840, #9 C2 £19300 -
As I understand it, the designers from Mini Mode have joined Boots and Mothercare will handle manufacture and supply chain. Not sure, but that is what I have been told. Mini mode becomes Mini club, Molly'n'Jack becomes Bows'n'Arrows (which I don't like but is a clever name - Boots from Nottingham, Bows for girls, Arrows for boys).
I love Mini Mode and bought nearly all our children's clothes there - generally half price, mind - which might explain why Adams has gone bust twice.
So, what worries me? Well, there we three things I loved about Mini Mode:
1. Design
2. Quality of manufacture
3. Promotions
What do I think?
1. Sounds like design team is staying the same, so design should remain high.
2. Quality, well I think Mothercare clothes are very shoddy, George-level in comparison. So quality is a worry.
3. Promotions, well where I live Boots and Mothercare are next door, so I can't see why Mothercare will provide better value at Boots and lose customers to a competitor.
Looking at Mothercare's horrible range with its lack of value and quality I feel rather depressed. Much depends on how skillfully the contract between Boots and Mothercare has been draughted, and how bothered the Boots monopoly is about children's clothes.
I just spent £37 on £74 worth of clothes in the sale just in case Mothercare destroy the franchise.0 -
thanks so much op!i have just spent nearly £40 on some bits for my dd.
i love mini mode as they sell proper 'little girls' clothes,dd has just out grown next's younger girls range as she is now in age 5-6 and i have been struggling to find nice age appropriate clothes for her as i find next (where i usually get most of her clothes from)older girls range is not suitable to put it politely:)0 -
hi the only things i know about the design is that its going to be more fashionable (i liked the cute mini mode styles) dont want tots dressed like little adults, but haven't seen any yet, as with the promotions Mothercare don't like lots of them just the big summer/winter sales, which boots aren't happy about.
there is still going to be Collection but now called Collectables
Also look on the website when you order online as the last date for ordering is 23rd June.Pay ALL your debt off by Xmas 2023 #59 £7008 Paid £570 Owing £6438 #1 H1 £151, #2 H2 £100, #3 O £200, #4 M £1500, #5 Z £295, #6 C1 £340, #7 L £1084, #8 N £840, #9 C2 £19300
