    Hi aron80, as I said previously, don't underestimate that your deafness could be a point of interest for people, that is why joolsybools would hire you over the other ironing lady that sticks a flyer through her door. There may be a feel good factor for the individual because they are hiring somebody 'disabled' and then they can feel a bit warm and fuzzy inside, but then you will have to prove yourself with your ironing skills and your communication skills whether that be by text or email. After you have done that it won't matter at all that you are deaf and your clients will realise this.

    oh right, I understand now. Yeah of course I have great ironing skills and would definitely provide a great service. Today was my last day at work, really gutted cos I loved my work. Gonna start getting flyers and stuff ready, hope it works out. Thanks again
