Tesco Clubcard Points - Deals v Airmiles

I don't use my Clubcard Points vouchers for money off my groceries as I prefer to put the points away to save for something nice. Consequently, for the last year or two I've been converting them into Airmiles to save for holidays. These were quite useful this year when I used some to pay for a night in a hotel in Hong Kong. However, I've noticed other people on these boards save the points to get Clubcard Deals for holidays etc. Would it be better value for me to do this rather than save for Airmiles? And is there much choice on Clubcard Deals - ie can you pay just for flights or just for hotels or is the discount on package holidays only?

Cheers.
