in Cutting tax
I am currently a full time school teacher and am starting a second job in a bar one night a week. My bar job will be minimum wage and only for about 7 hours a week.
How will i be taxed on this second income and will it affect my tax on my main wage?
Thanks in advance

Assuming you use your whole tax allowance in your first job (which would be the case 99% of the time when earning over £6,475).
Then you will be taxed on everything on your pub job at 20%, there is also NI you will be paying.
Your first job will not be a/effected.0 -
Thanks for that, any idea how much national insurance is?0

NI is payable on weekly earnings over 110 so you pay no NI0
