Does anyone use Boots No7 make up

If so what do you use of it and how do you rate it against more premium brands?

I love the Intelligent Colour Foundation & I prefer it above all others.

The loose powder is pretty good, as is the lipstick in EXCITE & the nail polishes.

Their Hot Cloth Cleanser is fab too:money:

I love no7 make up. Its generally all I buy now. I do try to get my stuff off ebay tho cos I'm skint.

I love the instant radiance under eye concealer, this hardly ever comes up on ebay mind :( but they are often on a 3 for 2 offer, so can't grumble at that. I use the eyeshadow and mascara too, and the liquid eyeliner. I've never been able to afford 'premium brands' but no7 to me is my 'premium' treat to myself. :p

Hi, I have a sample of the Intelligent Colour foundation but can't get on with for some reason, its good and not leaving a tidemark round your neck but it isn't very glowy. I like the tinted moisturiser though, that is good. I also love their mascaras and cream blushers. No7 was my main brand until I turned to Clinique for foundation and lipstick.

No7 cleansing wipes are good too but I only get them with the five pound voucher as £6 for a packet of wipes is rather OTT.

I also like the black liquid liner.

Yes I think its the light one I have, either that or medium. I do like a glowy look and the sales assistant in Boots told me this is their best selling foundation and people like it for holidays as I guess it just adapts to your tan. It certainly takes away the tidemark that I get even with tinted moisturiser. I notice it also has an SPF in it so I guess there's no need to wear SPF moisturiser with it, like the tinted moisturiser.

Its one of those products I really want to like but can't make work, I maybe am not using it right or giving it much of a chance. Its certainly cheaper than Clinique too :)

Sorry I read it wrong, I thought you said you were getting a tide mark.

I guess its not very glowly, but its VERY natural so its not matt or mask like either.
I love it because its soooo light.

Mrs E, do you use an SPF moisturiser underneath it? Do you use powder with it also?

I use different moisturisers under it (Liz Earle light, Oil of Olay foaming & I think I will try Cliniques DDM gel - my DD really rates it). I occasionally use a primer (don't bother for work though) & yes I use loose powder on top. Love Laura mercier but No.7 is a damn close second.

I use their Sensitive Eyes mascara and Moisture Drench lipstick. They used to do a really nice light-diffusing foundation but discontinued it a couple of years ago. I tried the Intelligent Colour one, but even though it looked OK when first on, I developed streaks after an hour or so. Tried the Perfect and Protect foundation too but it made my skin sensitive. Their eye shadows and blushers are nice though.
