I need to buy a really good bar of plain chocolate to finish a desert off for a dinner party tonight - about £1.70 I think. Other couples are providing the other courses so quite a cheap night.January budget

I beat you - I spent 11p today!
Had a £10 boots voucher from Pigsback and needed some toothpaste, so decided to buy a supply of toiletries from Boots. When I got there they had a coupon in the machine for 100 extra points when you spent £10 or more, and £100 extra points when you bought Botanics for Men items (which were also on BOGOF). For my £10 I bought 3 tubes of toothpaste (3 for 2), some Botanics shower gel and deodrent (BOGOF + 100 points) and two more bottles of cheaper shower gel (also BOGOF) and some shaving foam. I then went back in and used my Advantage points to buy some razor blades. Then I popped to Sainsburys and bought bread, milk and a few other bits all paid for with £5 of Nectar points.
I mis calculated slightly in Boots and had to hand over an extra 11p in addition to the £10 voucher, but at least I have enough toiletries to last me a few months.Amazon sellers club - member number 63.

Spend Monday - £7,000,000.00!I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.
