free home pre payment top up meter (british gas customers only)

anyone who is a british gas customer can use this on their p.c to top up their gas and electric card/key online to save going to a paypoint. thought it might be of use to someone.

    No good to me as not a customer. Does anyone know if Scottish Power do the same. Last I heard, you had to pay (about £15)

    I shall have another read (read it late last night!!) but I literally live 2mins walk from my local paypoint, so do I be really really lazy????? lol

    Scottish power do the same thing but unsure whether they charge you or not. Am eventually going to get a pod myself once I sort out my broadband in my new flat

    could be a good idea if you run out of gas/electric and the shop is shut...... my shop is literally at the end of street but its not 24 hours :)

    Thanks for the link. I've had a quick look through and can't find out anything about the cost, but I'm sure I was told it was about £15.

    * £10 will be charged for the Home Energy Top Up connector if you do not top up or return the connector to us within 30 days of us sending it to you.

    Always hate the trek out to get electric, the shop people think I'm mad when I ask for £90 at a time lol

    Scot Pwer one is free too. But it shows you on screen when you use more leccy and gas and at what times etc. bit like an online bill, but without the bill lol.
