Had my OR interview today - relief at last!!

Had my OR interview today and I felt I really should share my experience and hopefully it will help someone as I know how much help this forum has been to me in the last few months.
I was a total wreck before the phonecall and shaking like a leaf when i answered the phone but the lady was just normal and relaxed and friendly that it wasn't at all like the spanish inquisition I'd expected. She even seemed to show a degree of sympathy and obviously realised how hard it is to be on the receiving end of the phonecall. I have spent a very long time feeling wrecked with guilt and a total failure in business but not once during the hour did she make me feel guilty for the debt.
She answered my questions really clearly and explained the options about the house - we're in negative equity so it looks like my BI can be bought back for £1+legal costs and as I care for my mum they aren't going to take my car as its regarded as 'essential'.
I had spent the whole of sunday making sure I had all my paperwork filed in order and had made notes about the debts with the when/why/what for info all written down which to be fair I didn't refer to that much but I'm glad I did as I felt more prepared. She also checked things like tax credits, child benefit and maintenance amounts which I had all to hand as well.
I know it's a cliche but i do now feel like a massive weight is off my shoulders - I'd been expecting to feel like that since the court day but have been so worked up about the 'interview' that I've been an emotional wreck for the last 3 wks. I actually picked my kids up from school with a grin on my face today which is something they probably haven't seen in a long time.
A big thankyou to all the support and advice from the posters on this forum - there's been a lot of dark moments in the last few months and this place has been a real saviour.

good to hear it went well, must be a massive relief
it's so much easier if you have a think about how you've got where you are before the interview
glad you're smiling for your kids again :)

Hello starbies, I know people never believe that the OR interview will be fine and go through all their own scenarios of how it will be. Thanks for writing this x

    Best wishes
