Thank you all,
My main concern is - do i put down his income as he pays most of the bills anyway. If i do, there shows a disposable income but there isn't actually one as he has his own debt and an IVA. Should i put his money down and do i get a chance to discuss this situation with the OR? My head is in a spin............
you would put your full income, and his contribution to the household, eg household bills, not his full income, as he needs the rest of his income for his own bills. i hope this makes sense?0 -
Hi Confused, just let me confirm
I put my income down and what I actually pay?
How can i put down his contribution without putting in his salary?0 -
Hi Confused, just let me confirm
I put my income down and what I actually pay?
How can i put down his contribution without putting in his salary?
Using round figures for examples:
OH Salary £1,000
Less personal expenses (i.e. he will have his IVA in due course) £250
OH Contribution to household expenses £7500 -
Hi ava8,I felt exactly the same way until I discovered this forum, one thing I have learnt is,take it slowly,I wanted everything done immediatly, and have realised that is not going to happen. I havnt been contributing much lately, due to nothing happening, but read the forum every day,it keeps me going, there have been days when I just want to give up then I look on here and it gives me the courage to go on. Like all the people on this forum,we will do it!
Keep the faith!

Right folks, please let me know if i am on the right track. My husband pays the £1100 a month mortgage and the majority of bills. I only make a small contribution in comparrison. So this statement is for me alone as he is going to do his own IVA.
I was paying 160 a month to PayPlan but stopped last month to enable me to save for my BR. Am I missing anything that i can claim here?
