Santander FTB

Hi,
Am looking for some FTB advice.
I have a rather chequred credit history with 1ccj (settled) and two defaults (settled) - the CCJ and the defaults are 5 years old.

I am looking to buy a house with my GF and we have had an agreement in principal from Natwest, but see that Santander offer better rates.

My question is, does anyone have any experience on their acceptance criteria? Am i ruling myself out based on the above?

I have a 10% deposit and house is around 200k.

Thanks

    Hi Dan
not really sure tbh on mortgages - but they are tight as chuff for want of a better expression ( lol ) on credit cards/loans

Hubby has squeaky clean credit, 10yrs job and excellent salary etc - 1 other credit card but recently turned down for a credit card with them
    first time ever!:o
