As I understand it, the “rules” are essentially the same for Inheritance Tax.
My experience is that even with "professional" opinions, the VOA will still be asked to double check (with domestic property),
A mixture of "street view" & Land Registry house prices, makes a desk check easy; even if it does take 3 months.
