Hi,
Does anyone know a program that can help keep track of your montly spending. I have been using a Works Spreadsheet, but I have errors in it and its confusing us.
What I would really like is
A list of possible outgoings, that I can tick of when they get paid.
A amount of how much we can spend to stay within budget?
Any ideas....
I have spend 2 nights downloading bad programs, and programs filled with viruses. Anyone help?
Regards
Barry

I am also looking for some kind of electronic budget planner. At the moment i am using a cash book thing - it gets very confusing and i frequently loose track of where we're at. My OH has no hope of decifering it, now that i've finally got him on board.
I have tried setting up a spreadsheet, but I'm not very good with them so it's not really working for me.
We also have very complicated bank acounts ie money giong in and out of four different accounts. I am trying to simplify this so somekind of budgeting software would be great.0 -
Microsoft money is really good, you can set up as many accounts as you like, you can set budgets and it even calculates interest, etc etc
BUT it would mean you have to spend to get it!! not very DFW!I believe that I have the strength to make my dreams come true:T September Challenge £5 per day - £0/£150 :T0 -
I've got microsoft money - but every time I try to set it up it takes me ages and I give up. It seems so complicated. Can't be any more complcated than the cash book so I think I might give it another go!0

It's definitely worth it - because one it is set up and saved, you'll not have to add the accounts againNo longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
I use a spreasheet I designed myself, with different sheets all interlinked to hold all our financial transactions/plans - that way I have it just how I want it.The ability of skinny old ladies to carry huge loads is phenomenal. An ant can carry one hundred times its own weight, but there is no known limit to the lifting power of the average tiny eighty-year-old Spanish peasant grandmother.0
