Hi buba, there's a Samsung 42" Plasma TV going for £374.99 at BargainCrazy.
This article from Which? might interest you: LCD vs plasma TVs0 -
Thought you'd better read this. I just read it through properly and noticed something about lying these types of TVs down.I would check out the following site for differences between plasma & lcd:
http://www.which.co.uk/advice/lcd-vs-plasma-tvs/index.jsp
IMO, Plasma & LCD both have good and bad points.
The points about burn out and using more power on plasma, I think that really relates to older models, the technology has improved and they are both very similar now.
LCD is supposed to have more chance of screen burn and pixels dieing.
On Plasma tvs you usually get better viewing angles.
A downside to Plasma tvs is you cannot lie them down, (in case the glass screens bang together and smash), (as I found out when I collected mine from a store, luckily just as I was about to lie it down in the back of my car, then had to go get a van to get the tv home.)
At the end of the day it is just down to your own personal opinion, I went for a 42" Samsung Plasma for my main tv, but in the bedrooms I have 22" LCD.0 -
I've just posted this link on another thread so you might as well have a look through as well.
