Mousturiser/warm nights!

Does anyone else have the problem of facial mousturiser just melting off on a warm night in bed?
I have this feeling, its like my skin cant breathe, I am hot so my face trieds to perspire and the whole thing is an unpleasant mess.
If I dont use mousturiser then my face feels tight. This only happens in warmer weather. I dont have a problemm at other times.
I am using Nivea at present, Ive given up the night time one as its heavier, and am using the daytime one in bed, but I'm still melting!

A moisturiser gel might suit you better. I use one a couple of nights a week ( Skinceutical Intense Line Defense). It absorbs quickly and doesn't leave your skin feeling greasy.

I have not had this problem, but my face is very dry when I apply the cream, maybe try a different cleanser? something with witch hazel or tea tree could help.

Thanks, I am applying the moisturiser after I have had a bath so I guess I am pretty warm to start with!
I like the sound of the gel thoughh, I just couldnt give up on my bath ;)

can you put the cream on earlier so it's had chance to sink in before bed? Sounds like your skin needs to sweat/breathe in the heat & you are blocking it from doing that!

I often use aloe vera gel in summer as it is cooling and there is no chance of it melting off.
