postingalwaysposting wrote:nothing but i needed some more pain killers (on prescription) so thats £6.45 (i think?) last time i brought a precription was last year sometime.... i havent gone out to get them mum has but the pharmacys system is down at asda  so if she doesnt get them today it will be tommorow, lucky i have just enough for tommorow

Sometimes drugs can be cheaper over the counter than on prescription. Check whether that is the case for your pain killers.0 -
A terrible £71.51... (can't believe I'm admitting this on here - I feel so naughty!!:o).
It was in a variety of shops, including buying birthday presents for my godmother and for my goddaughter, a trip to Asda (with various bits and pieces in the freezer as well as "today's" groceries, a couple of paperback books for me (as a treat - oops!), and a couple of birthday pressies to put away for OH's b'day which is next month.
My excuse...it was payday:rolleyes:, and I got an unexpected bonus this month - but I did put nearly £500 extra into debt repayment:D, so its not as bad as it could have been!!!:p

hi englishman thouhgt of that but you cant buy the strength i was given over the counter also i got 100 tabs for £6.45 now that cant be bad can it?0 -
Thanks, Cathybird - I feel a little less bad about the spending now...:o I know I shouldn't have bought myself the books (and I did feel bad about it as soon as I had done it!!) but a little treat keeps me sane, so I figure that if a spend of £10 per month keeps me on track to do the overtime that leads to £500 extra off the debt each month, it might be worth the trade off!!

£2.89 in Tesco. I drove to work and back with my petrol light on in the car too!! whoops!! I'm going to have to spend more tomorrow.A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.
Nothing tastes as good as being slim feels.

Sounds like you did the right thing then posting. Hopefully someone else might see my message and save some money. Sorry to hear you need to take lots of very strong painkillers though

OK something wrong here! I ahven't stepped foot outside the door today but I've still managed to spend 112.25.
60.60 on ASDA online for the shopping. The rest on OH's glasses on line. Couldn't even get cash back from quidco cos the glasses he wanted were not on a quidco affiliated site!!
All that money and I didn't even get any retail therapy!0 -
I suppose that having joined the thread I should say how much I spent today.
£4.35. Bottle of coke and a Yorkie to go with my home made sandwiches and a packet of cigars (I know, I know!)
(Imposter on this board really as I am debt and mortgage free but still like to live reasonably cheaply)0
