    Evening Nargle - yes it's been spam, spam, spam tonight - but, I think, all gone now -but sure that more will take their place

    I was at that medical survey for 3 hours this morning - blood tests (loads of them), then very sweet sickly glucose tolerance drink, weight/height/measurements(!!), had to fill in 3 written questionnaires, ECG, Ultrascan on liver/kidneys, full body scan, further set of blood tests, at-rest tests and then should have done the 20 mins on treadmill but wouldn't let me do it 'cause of my arthritis and recent flutterings/tight chest (yippee) - now fitted with a monitor which I have to keep on till next Wednesday when I send it back to them for downloading info for their survey. They send all relevant test results to my GP so I have had a full body MOT check for free (advertised on TV for loads of money)

    Got £4.50 for travel expenses and voucher for lunch in canteen - so hubbie came in when he picked me up and we had a bite to eat together on them

    Their research is into possible causes of diabetes and obesity (they picked the right one there!!!) so I have contributed to medical science!!!


    P.S. it was hubbie who posted under my name earlier today when I was still at hospital - did you see it? My man did good, even without the supervision I insist he needs!!!
