Just bought one of these from Sainsburys. Model DD8403Q. Seems to be around £85ish everywhere else, SEL said £59.99, scanned at £47.99 this is an unmarked 20% off!
Hepa filter, bagless, cyclone cylinder, microban filter, 4 separate feet carpet, hard, laminate and fabric (ie curtains), etc, etc.
Bit of a bargain methinks...
...I'm sure the missus will love it!... :rotfl:

Dirt devil good value for money but that is all. I, and most Dyson owner's I know, think they are overpriced, overhyped and sometimes more trouble than they should be.
That's why I would like to hear a first hand opinion from a user of this item.0 -
I took a dyson to the rubbish tip recently as it didnt pick up any dirt and various bits had fallen off. What did i find there? A whole line of about 20 abandoned dysons in a row.
They are quite frankly c**p, and i dont know why anyone would want one.0 -

OK, this is a replacement for a Dyson, which basically fell to pieces!!
Dirtdevil pros and cons...
Pros - Cheaper to buy, hepa filter, lighter, 4 separate feet, spare hepa filter, spare cylinder filter, variable power output.
Cons - Shorter tube, (I have to stoop slightly), shorter cord (cannot reach as far as with Dyson), doesn't 'hug' the stairs!
The main body seems more solid than the Dyson, but the feet are made of thinner plastic and may be a bit more vunerable."...IT'S FRUITY!"0 -
what about the suction and pick up, wondering about the dog hair ability:rolleyes:0
