Interesting article luvpump.
Of the 25 leading City economists who took part in the Telegraph survey, 12 predicted that the euro would not survive in its current form this Parliamentary term, compared with eight who suspected it would. Five declared themselves undecided.....
.... Two of the eight experts who predicted that the currency would survive said it would do so only at the cost of seeing at least one of its members default on its sovereign debt.
I woke up very early this morning and watched a panel discussion of MEPs from different countries in the EU on the BBC . What the German MEP was saying is that they as a government cannot sell to the people of Germany that they will now have to retire later - in their late 60s - to pay for profligacy of other states when the Greeks will still be able to retire at 59. It brought home how big a social, as well as economic issue this is.Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Have said it before and will say it again, retirement is a thing of the past.
