CSA net income/perks

Hi, I am currently attending medation to agree maintenance etc. I have used the CSA online calculator to assess the payment he should make to me. However his net wages are minus a large pension payment and payment for a perk car. The Car is not required for his work, he works in the car production industry and they can effectively hire one cheaply each month as a perk. The current net wages minus the above is 2300 but would be about 2650 plus his pension. Its great for him that he gets a swanky car as much as he can afford but ultimately that effects the money my children get and he could drive a much smaller car on the same scheme. Is it a case of hard cheese for me or can I disregard his car payment so his net is higher and thus get a more favourable payment?

Have you had the assessment yet? If so and it has taken the car into account then appeal against it. If the car was essential then it would be different, but if it is just a perk then it really should be ignored.
