Hi
I have received a new boots advantage card. never remember having an old one.
Is this a loyalty scheme worth pursuing as I have several boots vouchers and what type of deals do they offer.

This will take you to the boots thread on the grabbit board. There are lots of good offers at boots, plus it's one of the best loyalty cards around giving 4 points per pound. Each point is worth a penny.
There are advantage card machines instore that look a bit like cash machines. Pop your card in next time your instore to see which offers best suit you. There are sometimes extra points vouchers to print out which help boost your total really quickly. Happy bootsing.0 -
Definitely worth having one, I have just bought my DS an X-Box using the points from my Advantage CardOrganised people are just too lazy to look for things
F U Fund currently at £2500 -
Yes ..... make sure you allways have the card to hand either in the shop or when/if you buy online. I save up my points and either treat myself or use them towards presents.
There is also a boots booklet you can get in store..... its free to card holders and its full of tips etc AND at the back there is a page full of coupons for extra points. I get together with my sister and friend and swap the coupons you dont want for those that you do.0 -
It's also worth knowing that if your local Boots does not have an Advantage machine you can get in touch with customercare at boots online and they will put you on the mailing list. They will then send you by post all the vouchers and extra points coupons that other people get at the advantage machines. They will also convert any points from ordering online into a voucher that you can get scanned onto your advantage card next time you are in your local Boots. I discovered all this when I complained to customer care that I wasn't getting the same deals as everyone else because my local boots didn't have an advantage machine. They were very nice and set up the above arrangement for me and gave me a voucher for 250 points for my trouble. Handy as there is double points till the end of August.Anyway hope this helps anyone in the same position as me.Cheers!

only disadvantage is that you can only spend your points instore not online -but who says what the near future might bring.
with a bit of savvy shopping it is very easy to build up a fair amount of points fairly quickly so keep collecting but spend wisely0 -
Definitely worth having. I usually pay for my holiday stuff with Boots Advantage points. This year I got Clarins Sun Creams and a new travel hairdryer with the points I'd accumulated over the year. :beer:0

Sorry it's a bit off-thread, but could anyone advise me about this please? I bought something form Boots.com and got Advantage points which I've already spent instore. I've now decided to return the item as I don't need it anymore. What will Boots do to retrieve the points form me?0

Phew! Thanks for putting my mind at rest. I didn't do it on purpose and would hate to have my card revoked for the sake of some free points!0
