I am looking into purchasing an indoor excercise bike. I had a look at Amazon and Argos, but not sure which one is best?
It needs to be compact as I don't have a lot of space in my one bedroom place and I can spend up to £150.
Any suggestions or recommendations please?

fwiw I'd go to the local council gym, pay them about £4.50 a time for the use of all their gym equipment.
After a few weeks of this if you still want to stick to just an exercise bike then search your local paper of freecycle - there are many of them that end up as clothes hangers rather than exercise bikes.;) We chose to get council gym membership which means we go more often to get value out of our monthly subscription.
don't fall into the same trap as them.
I find a X trainer burns off more calories for the same amount of effort, and of course works on your top half too.Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

I should have mentioned that I already go to the gym thee time a week but I do want some cardio equipmnent other than dvd's that I can do at home in between. I love cycling so I guess a bike would be great, I'm sure I'll get enough use out of it, but just want to make sure I'll the best bike for what I want to spend.0
