UPDATE: 3rd installment now available. See post 8
(I can't seem to change the thread title which still says 2nd installment)
Of course when I say free you already paid for it with your TV license fee so you may as well give it a go!
The BBC has come up with a surprisingly good 3D game. It is being released in installments. In the first episode you have to battle a Dalek takeover of the Earth.
I think it is aimed at younger teenagers but worth a look whatever age you are.
Download it here:

Apparently DW fans overseas can't get this meaning they are resorting to P2P and torrents - many of which have been infected. Make sure you get this from an official source or someone you trust. Just mentioning it as there may be overseas visitors reading this.

The next installment is coming out on Saturday (26th June) for PC owners. Mac owners have to wait another month.
This time you are battling Cybermen in the Arctic.0 -
I just played it through. Similar gameplay to the 1st episode in a different setting. So worth a play if you enjoyed the previous one.
But the main thing that struck me was - why is Amy Pond wearing in mini-skirt in the Arctic?0 -
OH played the first episode and really enjoyed it, and he's 31 :rotfl: It does look quite good for a freebieD'you know, in 900 years of space and time, I've never met anyone who wasn't importantTaste The Rainbow :heartsmil0

The 3rd episode is out now:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/dw/theadventuregames/download/tardis
This time it takes place in the Tardis and apparently you get to fly it too.
Available for both PCs and Macs, and apparently those overseas will be able to get it too though they will have to pay for it.0 -
I played it though. Very short compared to the other instalments and it all happens in just 2 rooms. It would have been nice to explore a bit more of the Tardis, but what the heck - it's free.
1 more episode left to go.0 -
Just two rooms? So much for the promotion that hinted we'd see a lot more of the interiorWe have removed your signature - please contact the forum team if you are not sure why - Forum Team0
