Craig David's chorus on a loop?

Craig David's 'All Alone Tonight' has the same line repeated 20 time (yes I've counted them). Virtually half of the recording is made up of:

Stop look yeah, listen to your heart hear what it’s saying.

Am I the only one to think that's banal, boring, repetitive and lacking anything of substance? At least Da Da Da was comical! Seems to me this is just repeated so many times to save filling the track with anything substantial or too demanding.

On the one hand I'm inclined to agree with you because I dislike Crag David.

On the other hand, I remember I quite like Moby.

Perhaps it isn't how many words but how well they're used? Is a Haiku worthless because they're usually pretty short. And not repeated. OK and poem forms rather than songs... but you see my point!
