Received P45 from Jobseekers?

Hello,
I applied for job seekers on the 21/05/2010. I had an interview on the 23/05 which I attended and informed them of any necessary information (such as jobs I can do).
I was told to sign on for the first time on 25/05. I signed on as I was told to and they said I would receive a letter regarding whether I got accepted or not.
Today I received three P45's from HM Revenue & Customs showing "Jobseeker's Allowance claim". It states that "Data benefit ceased = 24/05/2010".
Does this mean I have been declined for jobseekers?
I would have at least expected a reason, whereas instead I just received 3 P45 forms.
Thanks.

No. Letters of rejection for JSA come from the Benefit Delivery Centre. Maybe the Inland Revenue are setting up a tax code prior to the start of JSA being paid, or someone at JSA has made a mistake. I would phone them up, especially if you really need the JSA money quickly.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0
