Ooooooh ace! I forgot it was bank Holiday - I've just remembered there is a MASSIVE car boot sale near me on this Monday - I think it's time to throw some bits in the back of the car and see what happens! WOOT! That's really cheered me up as I am cash short at the minute and no payday for another 14 days! I was starting to get really worried how I was gonna get through it but if I can blag a few quid down the boot sale it should see me through *gives a happy little bounce*

Although its a bank holiday here (NE Scotland) its only the banks that close, life continues on as normal elsewhere, shops are open, schools are open etc. None of the 'bank holiday' hype here.
What we get instead are 'local' holidays when the schools are off and the shops close. These vary in different parts of the country.

Hubby's birthday, so pressies, picnic in the park, maybe a bit of zoo for the baby, then out in the evening for a meal at our local indian (which is super-posh and we haven't been there for ages...

Mr 999 is also getting a homemade cake and present, not that he knows it yet.... tee hee
  • Weekends and Bank Holidays. I luv em! An excuse to sit at home and do nothing (and spend nothing!) I've never been much of a go-er outer anyway, but now I have the best excuse for sitting around in my pj's watching tv, I'm a DFW!!!

Bah, I say humbug to my mum's idea of going for a walk on the canal, outside is temptation, inside is freeeeee!!!

Edit: Should probably go on to AQA and try and earn some pennies actually, there's a thought.

Well DH and I are off for another pub mystery shop!! We've done 2 already and we're getting hang of them! It's quite good as, although we have to pay for the meal first, we get that money back plus £5 for our troubles!
