    And was she the usual reactionary 'we need someone to speak against the sensible point of view' person that the Vine show seems to get? Could have been an interesting discussion with someone as moneysavvy as Martin but with the joint-account view... oh well...

    We have seperate accounts as its hubbys house and he pays the mortgage. I pay £150 towards the bills thats it, and I pay for food mostly.

    Even when we move and buy our first house together I hope we use the same system.

    We have a joint account for all bills and joint things such as going out, presents for others etc

    Then we each have a current account. Mine is mostly used to wave to my salary as it goes past :rotfl: The day after I get paid it goes into the joint account and debt repayments, leaving me with my pocket money for the month. One day soon (Feb 08 it seems) I will feel RICH!!! ;)
