  • I have found out today about IVA some more and i am able to get it as long as i put my property on the market (which i was doing anyway) and then pay my creditors when the house gets sold. All i have to do is keep paying the mortgage on time and full amount.
Does anyone have any information about IVA (info what they dont tell you) success stories etc?
With IVA, once my house is sold and i have paid my debts i will be left with at least £40000 to put to a new joint mortgage with my partner.
This sounds like a much better option than Gmac
Bank Charges = Cahoot bank account refunded £1640 asked for £1871 / Barclaycard refunded £480 asked for £480 Black Horse PPI refunded £797 asked for £797
  • Not sure if this is of any help but my partner works for a rather large law firm and her department is involved in repossessions etc.
She tell me that an afull lot of GMAC customers end up missing payments and having homes repossessed.
I know that its a generalisation but perhaps it shows they lend excessive amounts with out much care for the customers ability to pay it back.
Watch out, you never know who is about.
