Have you contacted your primary care trust? They have been fantastic for us, they helped my register with a GP which I found almost impossible when moving here, and also got my OH on the list at an NHS dentist (Like gold dust in London!).Membre Of Teh Misspleing Culb0

There is a huge difference between a patient wishing that their dentist would see them on the NHS and a patient wanting to see any old dentist on the NHS.
This is one of the things that the Department of Health doesn't understand.
The relationship with a dentist is a very intimate one. (Oh Missus! Titter ye not!).
Donna seems very happy with her dentist, and he seems to be a very good dentist. There is nothing the PCT can do to bring him back onto the NHS.
P.S. Me saying you could leave the gap was only meant as a possible option. How you feel about the gap is as important as anything. If you want it filled, then it needs to be filled! How to find a dentist.
1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.0 -
I would certainly rather change to an nhs dentist if I could than have to pay the private fees. The PCT would help get her onto the books of an nhs dentist.
I wouldn't say I can ever imagine having a relationship with my dentist. They are all evil, lol.Membre Of Teh Misspleing Culb0 -
That is your choice. We all have different priorities and spend our money on different things.
