Don’t use this woman or her clinic unless you want droopy wonky brows.
I went along the Boston Aesthetics Clinic in Bayswater 2 weeks ago for a bit of botox, vain I know but as I’m in my 40’s I just thought I’d soften the crows feet a bit. I’ve had botox in the past from another clinic and it’s always been great, but that clinic is too far to travel to so I thought I’d go somewhere more local.
I saw a nurse called Malti O’Mahony; she purports to have tons of experience with botox and trains others to administer it. I told her I just wanted my crow’s feet done and 1 injection above each eye to raise the brow and give it an arch. I told her I’d had it done before and didn’t want my whole brow done as I didn’t want my eyebrows to drop.
She said she could open up my eyes and lift my eyebrows, great I thought just what I need. I had the injections done although I was a bit concerned that she injected 3 sites on each temple and I’d never had botox injected there before, anyway thought she must know what she’s doing, she’s a nurse and trains other people after all.
When I went to pay I was told that they don’t accept cards or cheques just cash, alarm bells started ringing then, but off I trotted to the cash point to get the funds.
During the next 7 days my crows feet vanished, great, but the outer corners of each of my eyebrows started heading south at an alarming rate, it looked really weird that my eyebrows were fine until about halfway along and then they just dropped leaving me with very hooded eyes. People keep telling me I look very tired, so not the look I was going for at all.
So I went back to see Malti at the clinic, I could tell by her face she knew what she’d done but she just kept telling me that 1, my eyebrows hadn’t drooped at all and that they had always been like that, and 2, that the botox hadn’t taken full effect yet and I should come back a week later.
So off I trotted today back to the clinic only to be told once again that there was nothing wrong with my brows and they weren’t droopy at all. I argued that I knew where my brows should be but she was having none of it, she said there was nothing she could do and I’d have to wait for it to wear off. No refund either surprise, surprise.
So anyone wanting a bit of botox, don’t touch this woman or her clinic with a barge pole.
On the bright side I should look normal again by the autumn and fringes are very now!!

Medical aesthetic or cosmetic clinics who provide botox do not require Care Quaility Commissions registration and clinics are mostly self regulated so customer service can vary. I attend a training course in London for botox treatments at cost price and have never had a brow ptosis which it seems you have. All the training course attendees are medical professionals who are training to provide botox and other cosmetic treatments. The treatments are closely monitored by skilled cosmetic trainers check out KT Medical Aesthetic Training.
The products used for treatments include BOTOX/VISTABEL plus dermal fillers Juvederm Ultra, Restylane and Surgiderm XP which are some of best dermal fillers on the market.
